How to process a hardcover book printing job?

Stage 1: Pre-press

We prefer to PDF artworks for your book printing job. The PDF should be with full bleed, crop line and all components embedded. Separate PDF should be created for individual pages.

When we have proper PDF artworks, we will produce low-res physical proofs and high-res digital proofs for approval. Some of our customers just like to see soft PDF proofs for checking everything. But the low-res physical proofs will give the ideas of imposition, and high-res digital proofs will generate the color for your ref.  

When all proofs are approved, we will create CTP plates for printing. We have two CTP capacity to support your hardcover book printing jobs.

Epson Stylus Pro 9880C for producing high-res digital proofs

Stage 2: Printing

We have several 4 colors printing machines, 5 colors printing machines and 8 colors printing machines. They are flexible for small qty order, but will be also cost efficient for big qty order. So please just release you RFQ and we will quote you our best prices. We also pay much more attention to improving our communication and customer services levels in order to support overseas customers processing hardcover book printing jobs.

Stage 3: Binding

When the sheets are printed, we will arrange to fold and sew. We have several high-speed Heidelberg Stahl KD series folding machines, and two automatic sewing machines Martini series. The capacity and efficiency can be run fully for your hardcover book printing jobs. We also have casing in line Kolbus BF Series that are able to bind the book from 155mm x 95mm to 350mm x 250mm.
